Senior Mechanical Engineer
Responsible for design and analysis of mechanical systems and equipment, feasibility and safety testing, research and development, and team leadership. Position requires BSME and 8-10 years experience or MSME and 5 years post-grad experience in design, stress analysis, and verifications using governing codes and standards; experience preparing schematic or conceptual layouts; ability to develop realistic construction cost estimates; strong computer skills; excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication skills; and ability and willingness to travel as required.
Senior Structural Engineer
Responsible for structural engineering design work, including estimating project costs, creating structural design and layout drawings; performing structural analysis and calculations; and developing project construction specifications. Position requires B.S. degree and ten or more years of experience; M.S. degree and P.E. license preferred.
The Electrical Systems Controls Engineer is responsible for the development and programming of controls and electrical systems for major amusement rides and roller coasters. The controls Engineer will be responsible to develop PLC programs for ride operations, perform on-site start-up of PLC programs, troubleshoot programming bugs, and make enhancements to programs in the field. The position requires timely preparation of progress and other required reports and the establishment of good working relationships with clients, consultants, and company personnel. The position requirements include a B.S.E.E. or M.S.E.E. from an accredited institution, practical experience in software design for control systems, and familiarity with PLCs, motion control systems, sensor and actuator technologies, and user interfaces and implementation criteria. Extensive travel may be required.
Responsible to oversee the installation of major amusement rides and roller coasters at amusement park sites around the world. Position requires previous construction supervision experience, knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, mechanical systems, welding, and excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as ability to travel extensively and work at extreme heights. Formal education in construction management or project management preferred.
Mechanical designer for amusement ride manufacturer will be responsible for design of roller coaster and amusement ride mechanical systems in SolidWorks 3-D software under the supervision of an engineer. This position requires credentials from a college-level design program or a technical school, general mechanical systems knowledge and design ability, and at least five years professional experience. SolidWorks certification required. Other requirements include at least five years’ professional experience with SolidWorks 3-D design software, training and experience with AutoCad, and general mechanical systems knowledge. The position requires the ability to produce manufacturing drawings from design concepts, as well as excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and proven attention to detail. Work history that includes demonstrated leadership skills will be given preference.
